A man accused of murdering his 18-month-old twins has been granted bail by a Supreme Court judge in Brisbane.
The 28-year-old man, who cannot be named, is accused of two counts of murder, two of torture and two of failing to provide the necessities of life.
The charges follow the discovery of the bodies of his 18-month-old twins at his home at Sunnybank Hills last month.
The children's mother remains in custody on similar charges.
In opposing bail, Ross Martin for the Director of Public Prosecutions told Justice Debra Mullins there was at least a strong case of manslaughter against the man.
However, Justice Mullins granted conditional bail.
The man's parents are to pay a $10,000 surety.
He must also report to police three times a week, live with his younger brother and not attend his children's funeral.
